Nominated for five Leo Awards, including Best Director and Best Screenwriter, Nat Boltt’s feature debut feature, Holy Days, was selected for TIFF, sold out at Santa Barbara Film Fest and is enjoying global theatrical release as "The definitive feel good film of 2026" - Film Threat.
The film stars an A-list cast of Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Emmy award honorees, Judy Davis, Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter) and Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook). Boltt wrote the screenplay for this fast-paced road-trip adventure comedy, a Canadian-New Zealand co-production.
Coming from a successful career in front of the camera, Boltt is an 'actor's director and transitioned easily into TV episodic directing, including Riverdale and The Dressing Room (starring Eric McCormack). Up next, she is attached to direct another roadtrip comedy, Sweet Child of Mine, as well as the self-penned body horror, Outhouse. Boltt is the creator of comedy series Mama Bear and FML and thriller series, The Drift. She is a Warner Brothers Directors Program allumna.
Nat Boltt is proud of her Latin heritage, with work capabilities in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Switzerland/EU and the UK. She is a member of the DGC sustainability committee, working towards carbon zero TV and Film production in beautiful BC. Boltt is also a passionate animal rights activist, who is regularly adopted by baby squirrels. It's not her fault. They recognise her high energy, remarkable productivity and playfulness as one of their own.
