Nat Boltt's directorial feature debut, Holy Days, was selected for TIFF's historic 50 th anniversary. The film stars an A-list cast of Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Emmy award honorees. Boltt wrote the screenplay for this fast-paced road-trip adventure comedy, a Canadian-New Zealand co-production.
Boltt has a slate of upcoming projects, including mockumentary, The Dressing Room. She directed multiple episodes of this star-studded comedy, including the season 2 finale.
Boltt received rave reviews for directing Riverdale (Dance of Death - Season 5), with Den of Geek praising her for ‘the coolest sequence this show has pulled off in ages’ (see director reel below). Boltt’s craft was honed at the highly competitive Warner Brother Director’s Workshop and mentors Lee T. Krieger (Age of Adeline, You, Dead Boy Detectives) and Maggie Kiley (Dr Death, Dirty John)
Boltt has directorial experience in both comedy and drama, with The Silk, Vajazzle, A.T.A.C.K. and series Dropped Pie, winning multiple Best Screenwriting, Best Director, Best Short Film and Audience Awards at film festivals from the US to New Zealand, including Dallas International, Portland, Los Angeles Women’s, Vancouver Women’s, Rockport, Honolulu, PopCon, Awesome Con, Chicago Women’s Comedy and the Canadian Leo Awards.
Boltt also directed music videos Doll of Torture and Because I’m a Girl, which became the girl power anthem of 2019, clocking up over a million views.
Nat Boltt is proud of her Latin heritage, with work capabilities in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Switzerland/EU
