Wendy just completed the LifeTime Original- “Searching for a Serial Killer -The Regina Smith Story”. In the past 3 years she directed an additional nine movies for television including Rom Coms, Christmas Movies and Thrillers that premiered either on Hallmark or LifeTime. Her thrillers, The Ice Rink Murders and Don’t Scream, It’s Me were hailed by the Reel One executives as “two of the best thrillers ever made for their company”. Additionally, The Perfect Christmas Carol garnered her a nomination for Best Direction Television Movie at this year’s Leo Awards.
Wendy wrote, directed and co-produced To The Worlds, which won the 2020 Canadian Screen Award for Best Documentary Program. It was CBC’s highest rated doc of the year & garnered rave reviews. To The Worlds also received 5 LEO Award nominations, winning for best original score.
Wendy holds the distinction of being the first female 1st Assistant Director in Canada. As such, she’s worked on hundreds of hours of TV series, MOWs, Feature Films, & 3-D IMAX films working across Canada and around the globe.
