Jacquie Gould

Jacquie Gould is a Canadian director and writer based in Vancouver. A member of the Directors Guild of Canada since 1989, Jacquie started her film career as an Assistant Director on series including WISEGUY, DARK ANGEL, and SMALLVILLE, and feature films including CADENCE, ALIVE, and SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS. Jacquie is also a member of the Writers Guild of Canada and was the on-set writer on the critically acclaimed CBC series STRANGE EMPIRE. Jacquie has also written a limited series for CBC, titled THE WANTING, with the goal to direct. Her short film VICTORY SQUARE, set in Vancouver’s downtown east-side, was selected for the 2016 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Showcase as well nominated for a DGC award and a Leo for best direction. Jacquie adapted Margaret Atwood’s first Novel THE EDIBLE WOMAN into feature film. EOne is developing it into a television series. As of May 2020 Jacquie will have directed six episodes of Van Helsing for SYFY/ Netflix. Jacquie has two features in development to write and direct.
