Frederick Kroetsch

Frederick has created and directed dozens of eclectic projects, including Dangerous Breed: Crime. Cons. Cats (NBCUniversal), the TV-series Queen of the Oil Patch (APTN), and the 1-Hour documentary Last of the Fur Traders (AMI-tv).

He is currently in production on season 2 of his new TV-series Crip Trip (Ami-TV/TVO). “An unprepared caregiver and his quadruple-amputee best friend embark on a wild road trip to chase a dream."

His passion for directing broadcast documentary series includes Push (CBC), Dr. Savanna: Wildrose Vet (Cottage Life & APTN), and The Curse of Oak Island (History).

Frederick was Executive Producer/Cinematographer on ‘WOCHIIGII LO: END OF THE PEACE’ which premiered at TIFF 2021.

In 2023 Frederick received Telefilm Talent-to-Watch funding and Runner Up for the 2023 Edmonton Film Prize.
