David Crabtree

David Crabtree started his storytelling journey as an editor, where his diversified career included 26 episodes of NYPD Blue, 36 episodes of Psych, and culminated by editing seven pilots that went to series including Psych, Las Vegas, The Nine Lives of Chloe King, and The Client List.
David's directing career started with several independent short films and a feature film. Winning awards for "The Bedroom" (Best Experimental Drama - Houston International Film Festival), "The Overshare" (Featured on the front page of Funnyordie.com), "Gwyndor" (Best Dramedy - Hollyshorts Film Festival 2013), and feature film "Broken Dreams" (Best Feature Film - Other Venice Film Festival).
In 2010, David made his television directing debut for the comedy show "Psych". He directed 5 episodes of Psych before moving on to the procedural dramedy "Rosewood", where he directed 3 episodes and served as Co-Producer in charge of editorial. Then he moved on to edgy drama "The Resident", where he directed 5 episodes. And he also directed 2 episodes of the ward winning teen drama "All American."
He has also participated in a masters acting/directing workshop in Los Angeles under the tutelage of Howie Deutch for over a decade. This is where he finetuned his communication and directing skills with working actors.
First and foremost, David considers himself a storyteller. He likes to say "as an editor, it was always my job to put together the best possible puzzle with the pieces available. As a director, I get to create those puzzle pieces while colaborating with actors, writers, and crew. To me, there is no greater job on earth!"
