Trish Neufeld

Trish Neufeld is a Canadian director and producer whose storytelling journey spans from early days with a Hi8 camera in high school to directing series with some of the world’s largest media companies.
She recently directed a two-part documentary for Paramount+ about TikTok star William White (Fall 2025), and her true-crime series In Cold Water: The Shelter Bay Mystery (Amazon Prime, 2024) was nominated for Best Factual Series at the Canadian Screen Awards and received six Leo Award nominations (2025), including Best Documentary Series and Best Direction.
Trish remains deeply passionate about directing documentary series — particularly in the true-crime space. She is currently developing a new docuseries that blends traditional elements like interviews, archival footage, and real-time investigation with cinematic scripted reenactments. With a growing interest in hybrid formats, she sees enormous creative potential in the space where documentary and drama intersect.
