Mackenzie Munro

Mackenzie Munro started her career on set at age 15, becoming an AD and trainer for the on screen horses on The History Channel’s, ‘Sons of Liberty’. Mackenzie’s first short film as a director, LCD, took her around the world from Cannes Film Festival to New York Premiere Film Festival winning several international awards. She then showrun series for Facebook Watch, Crypt TV’s The Birch & The Shade Room’s 25 million #WeTheCulture. In 2020, Mackenzie wrote, directed and produced her first pilot, PINK TAX, which screened at Oscar Qualifying festival HollyShorts in 2021. In 2021, Mackenzie directed her first feature film SALVATION, starring Skeet Ulrich, Claire Forlani, Ashley Moore, Theo Rossi and Thomas Jane. She most recently directed WATTPAD’s first independently financed romantic comedy feature, BOOT CAMP based on the popular Wattpad story, which received 30 million reads. The film stars Drew Ray Tanner and Emmanuelle Chriqui and will premiere globally early next year. While Mackenzie is in soft prep for her next financed feature, KNOCK THREE TIMES, a horror that will shoot in Ireland beginning of next year, she’s wrapping up writing a mystery series for KEEPER PICTURES in Dublin that she will also be directing the pilot for.
