Alysse Leite-Rogers is a multi hypenated,1st generation Portuguese/Canadian, film/tv director based out of Vancouver. She maintains strong ties (and an EU passport) to her parents' island homeland of Sao Miguel, Azores. Alysse has worked in television her entire adult life. For 21 years she worked as a 1st AD for many of the major US netowrks and cable providers. Over 100 episodes on shows such as 'The L Word', 'Bates Motel', 'Kyle XY' and 'The X Files'. She began directing 2nd units on JEREMIAH, a 1hr drama/action television series for MGM. Alysse transitioned full time into directing with an episode of Marti Noxon’s comedy/drama GIRLFRIENDS GUIDE TO DIVORCE (BRAVO/NBCU). Alysse has gone onto direct multiple episodes of SUPERGIRL (WB/CW), WHEN CALLS THE HEART (HALLMARK), CHESAPEAKE SHORES (HALLMARK) and the Legal drama FAMILY LAW where she has directed 8 eps in all 4 seasons (GLOBAL/CW). Her long form credits include MOW's for Hallmark and GAC.
Alysse wrote and directed a dark comedy short titled ‘TIPPED’ which won multiple awards in international film festivals and was sold to the streaming platform Crave.
