Valerie Barnhart is a self-taught Director and Animator. Her first film, an animated docu-horror, "Girl in the Hallway" went on to enjoy a 2 year festival run picking up 27 awards qualifying for the Oscars in both the short animation and the short doc categories. Her film went onto become Vimeo Staff Pick Best Documentary nom '19. Currently in production at NFB/ONF writing, directing and animating her short horror-rom-com, "What the Hell".
