Sarah Wayne Callies

Actor, director, and writer Sarah Wayne Callies is best known for starring in multiple hit television series. Starting in 2017, she successfully transitioned into directing, helming an episode of USA's COLONY. This upcoming season, Sarah is set to direct her third episode of the CBS hit FIRE COUNTRY—a show she's directed on from its first season—as well as NBC’s THE IRRATIONAL. Previous directing credits include three episodes of ABC’s hit series THE GOOD DOCTOR, two episodes of the Netflix hit drama FIREFLY LANE, an episode of the Sundance limited series UNSPEAKABLE, and an episode of FAMILY LAW.

On the acting side, Sarah starred in the ABC drama series THE COMPANY YOU KEEP and the NBC drama series COUNCIL OF DADS. Sarah also starred in the USA series COLONY, AMC’s mega hit THE WALKING DEAD, and FOX’s PRISON BREAK.

As a writer, Sarah has developed multiple projects. Her spec screenplay, WE ARE WAHINE, about the first women’s volleyball team in Hawai'i that was born from Title IX, is being produced by Dwayne Johnson’s production arm, Seven Bucks. Her animated feature ELENA’S SERENADE is being produced by Anima Studios. She has also written a feature she will direct, produced by Todd Berger, entitled GHOST STORY, and has a TV project in development with James Strong’s production company in the U.K. Sarah’s original scripted podcast, AFTERSHOCK, has had two successful seasons, first premiering on iHeart. AFTERSHOCK’s first season was #1 on Apple Charts throughout its full run, and season two hit #1 in two dozen countries worldwide. Additionally, Sarah recently founded a podcasting production company, CALIBER STUDIO.
