Paul Ziller

Paul Ziller has directed over 40 feature films and MOWs, plus various series episodes. He is experienced in all genres: drama, sci-fi, action, family, mystery, docudrama and romantic comedies. A graduate of NYU Film School, Paul began his career writing, directing and editing for legendary producer Roger Corman who taught him the essentials of making films on tight budgets. Paul went on to direct feature-length films throughout North America, eventually helming for the SyFy Channel where he spent nearly a decade writing and directing MOWs and series (e.g. Stargate Atlantis). Having been a teenage “trekkie”, he flourished in the imaginative, visually creative realm of sci-fi. Now settled in Vancouver, B.C., Paul currently enjoys directing romantic comedies for Hallmark. Paul has a directing style that reflects his love for collaborating with cast and crew. And his extensive experience as a film editor and writer gives him a unique skillset to direct demanding shows on tight schedules. Producers and network execs know him as a director who delivers a much higher quality film than expected, on time and on budget. He looks forward to bringing these skills and experience to ambitious projects.
