Michael Suan is a Chinese-Canadian filmmaker who loves projects that bridge various cultures. His first feature was nominated for multiple awards on the international festival circuit and has played in competition with Directors such as Miike, Ki Duk, Zhangke and Muschietti. Awards of note include: Orient Express, Special Jury - Fantasporto, Free Spirit - Warsaw, and Best Feature - Reel World. He is currently in post-production on his third feature LACHINE from producers Marcel Giroux of MARTYRS and Alan Pao of UNDER THE SILVER LAKE.
