Jason is a visible ethnic 3rd Generation Japanese Canadian Director. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Directing in a Children’s Program for the series RL Stines, THE HAUNTING HOUR . His television credits also include more recently MURDOCH MYSTERIES, Lifetime’s WATCH YOUR BACK along with Hallmark’s A MAGICAL CHRISTMAS VILLAGE and A WINNING TEAM, Disney XD’s sitcom MR. YOUNG, as well as Canadian TV shows THE GUARD, GODIVA'S, COLD SQUAD and ROBSON ARMS.
Jason has a strongly credited AD resume as well, working on series for Apple+ PACHINKO, NBC’s Brand New Cherry Flavor and AMC’s The Terror.
He has freshly completed co-writing the first draft of the Canadian screenplay for "The Vancouver Asahi Baseball Story"; about a team of Japanese Canadians in 1926 that entered their baseball team to compete in the White Anglo City League and proceeded to become the City Champions, voted most popular team in the city. This true story is Jason’s proud passion to bring to screen.
