Deanne is an award-winning Canadian feature film & TV director/writer. Most recently, she directed on the last four season’s of the buzz-worthy CBC comedy series, SON OF A CRITCH and City TVʼs HUDSON & REX. She directed the critically acclaimed feature film, AN AUDIENCE OF CHAIRS. Her sophomore feature, RELATIVE HAPPINESS, was nominated for Best Picture at the 2015 Directors Guild of Canada Awards, and the ʻBorsosʼ Best Canadian Feature at Whistler Film Festival. She has directed on CBCʼs one-hour procedural drama, REPUBLIC OF DOYLE and the Lifetime TV Movie CHRISTMAS RESERVATIONS starring Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina The Teenage Witch), is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada & Writers Guild of Canada, was awarded BMO Artist of the Year by Arts NL in 2015 and the 2020 WAVE award for Vision & Leadership by Women in Film Television-Atlantic.
